Performance Training Classes

Circuit Training

Boot Camp & Circuit Training focus on cardiorespiratory endurance and full-body strength. Train using body weight exercises like squats, lunges, and push-ups. Use equipment such as dumbbells, kettlebells, resistance bands, speed ladder, and much more. Classes are a perfect blend of total body strength building and aerobic fitness. These classes are designed to tone your body and improve your endurance. Come prepared to work hard and generate a good sweat! This Location: Performance Training Area, first floor & Hardwood Court adjacent to performance training. For ages 18+. Bring your own mat, a towel, and water!

Studio Classes

HIIT

This high-intensity, interval training class is a total body, aerobic, strength and conditioning workout! An interval-based class that combines full body strength training with cardio bursts is the perfect class for those looking for a challenge and a good sweat. Strengthen your legs, core, and upper body with a mix of high/low repetitions and weights, plyometrics, and body weight exercises. Improve your endurance with high and low impact cardio bursts. This class will incorporate a mix of weights, resistance bands, med balls, steps, and more. Come ready to work hard. Location: Group Exercise Studios, second floor. For ages 18+. Register online. YOGA

Yoga is a mind and body activity. Traditional postures, as well as breathing exercises will leave you feeling centered, flexible, and strong. Increase your balance and range of motion. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation promotes stress reduction and mental clarity. Build your cardio and circulatory health as well. Instructors will incorporate instruction for beginners to advance participants. Location: Group Exercise Studio, second floor. For ages 18+. Register online. Space is limited. BEGINNER YOGA

Learn the foundations of yoga so you can begin to experience its transformational effects. Explore body alignment and deep breathing while developing strength, flexibility, and balance in a supportive environment. This class is designed for the brand new student, yet experienced students may attend to reinforce the basics. Location: Group Exercise Studio, second floor. For ages 18+. Register online. POWER YOGA

This class will link breath and movement, tone, strengthen and rinse your body, clear your mind, and leave you with a sense of accomplishment and empowerment to start your day! Power yoga is usually conducted at a faster pace than a regular yoga class and usually includes far more intense flowing yoga poses than chanting and meditation. It can be a vigorous workout that burns calories and can help keep you fit. Location: Group Exercise Studio, second floor. For ages 18+. Register online. Space is limited. ZUMBA

A Latin-inspired dance fitness class that incorporates Latin and international music. The class combines fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. You will great a great workout while having a blast. Choreography incorporates hip-hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue, and mambo. Squats and lunges can also be included. Moving in sync to music will make you work hard and will help you build endurance, tone muscles, and build definition. Location: Group Exercise Studio, second floor. For ages 18+. Register online. BODY SCULPT

Total body shaping and sculpting is what you get from this class. Participate in non-stop strength building exercises that will increase muscular endurance while using dumbbells. Tone every muscle group from head to toe. There will be a variety of core movements and abdominal work involved. You will receive a total body shaping workout. CHISEL

Chisel features compound strength-based movements built in a block format. Chisel utilizes heavier weights and slower tempo movement throughout the workout along with Chisel Challenges to push you to the max! You’re strong and getting stronger with Chisel! This full-body workout tones muscles and increases bone density. This class is designed for all levels. Class includes a cool down and stretch for safe, effective training. Chisel w/ Tony Tuesdays & Thursdays 11AM-Noon

YIN

Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga as exercise, incorporating principles of traditional Chinese medicine, with asanas (postures) that are held for longer periods of time than in other styles. Yin Yoga is more meditative version of the popular physical and spiritual discipline of yoga. In Yin yoga, the poses are held for a long period of time (typically three to five minutes or longer) to target the connective tissues (such as the ligaments) rather than focusing on the muscles. As a result, the asanas are more passive holds, with little muscular engagement. The poses are held with the muscles fully relaxed, allowing time and gravity to deepen the stretch and target the fascia. Location: Group Exercise Studio, second floor. For ages 18+. Register online. BELLY DANCING

Challenge yourself with this torso-driven dance, with emphasis on the hips. It’s a fun way to get a workout! Location: Group Exercise Studio, second floor. For ages 18+. Register online. Space is limited.

BALLROOM & LATIN DANCING

Participate in 4 nights of Ballroom and Latin dancing, perfect for beginners as well as experienced dancers who are looking to enhance their skills or acquire new ones. During these dance classes, you will learn basic dance steps and movements including Waltz, Foxtrot, Rumba, Cha-Cha, Tango and more! Singles and couples are welcome.

PHYSICAL THERAPY

A 1,000 square foot physical therapy room, outfitted with training tables, rehab equipment, and hot and cold bath tubs is available to everyone who desires a high quality athletic training/ physical therapy experience. In this room, our registered professionals are able to treat a variety of injuries and ailments; from taping a sprained ankle, all the way up to a comprehensive, multi-week rehabilitation program.

RECOVERY

In addition to the physical therapy room, Impact has a Recovery suite that houses some of the best equipment sports science has to offer: from cryotherapy chambers, to Normatec compression sleeves, to therapy percussion guns. Injured and uninjured athletes alike are invited here to rejuvenate their bodies and reap the benefits of cutting edge sports technology.
