Adult Group Training

Impact Athletic’s Adult Group Training Program combines functional strength training and conditioning to improve your overall strength, athleticism, mobility, and stability. Each training session is 45 minutes and will begin with a dynamic warm-up to prepare your body for the workout. The warm-up will be followed by your main workout/lifts and will end with a challenging finisher. Each class has a maximum of 12 members to ensure that each person is receiving proper instruction, modifications and progressions, and attention within an engaging group setting. No experience, no problem! Whether you are a complete beginner or seeking a challenge, you will be sure to have a great workout!

Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays will be functional strength training workouts. These workouts are designed to improve your overall strength, increase your mobility, and build and maintain muscle.

Tuesdays and Thursdays will be conditioning workouts. These workouts will focus on improving your endurance and stamina.

Saturdays are hybrid workouts. These workouts will combine strength training and conditioning training for a fun and challenging workout.

Yoga Classes

Yoga For Core Strength

Looking to improve your stability, mobility, and core strength? This is the class for you! This class is great for beginners through experienced yogis and may be especially beneficial for those experiencing injuries or pain. In this class you can expect a vinyasa style yoga flow with movements specifically focused on increasing your core strength.

Yoga Foundations

The perfect class whether you’re new to yoga or looking to return to the basics. This class is an exploration of poses with an anatomical perspective on movement that will leave you feeling grounded with an increase awareness of your movement patterns and the space you hold. This class is great for complete beginners – intermediate yogis.

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a slower-paced, more meditative version of yoga. In Yin yoga, the poses are held for a long period of time (typically three to five minutes or longer) to target the connective tissues (such as the ligaments) rather than focusing on the muscles. Yin yoga is ideal for participants of all fitness levels who want to develop a relaxed, meditative practice or find balance. This class allows you to slow down, relax, and turn inward, which helps alleviate stress and restore your energy levels.

Power Yoga

Power yoga is a faster-paced yoga workout focused on building strength and flexibility in the body through yoga postures. In this class you will receive a total body workout that blends of vinyasa style yoga sequences and yoga poses. Expect to be challenged, improve your strength, and improve your flexibility.

Studio Classes

Total Body Sculpt

This class uses a combination of dumbbell, resistance band, and body-weight exercises for a low-impact total body workout. Be prepared to get stronger and more confident during this 45 minute class. You can expect to workout to energizing music, be challenged, and feel stronger within a supportive and encouraging environment.

Ballroom & Latin Dancing

Participate in 4 nights of Ballroom and Latin dancing, perfect for beginners as well as experienced dancers who are looking to enhance their skills or acquire new ones. During these dance classes, you will learn basic dance steps and movements including Waltz, Foxtrot, Rumba, Cha-Cha, Tango, and more! Single and couples are welcome.

Location: Group Exercise Studio, second floor. For ages 18+.

RECOVERY

In addition to Physical Therapy, Impact has a Recovery suite that houses some of the best equipment sports science has to offer: from cryotherapy chambers, to compression sleeves, to therapy percussion guns and more. Injured and uninjured athletes alike are invited here to rejuvenate their bodies and reap the benefits of cutting edge sports technology.
