Impact Kids

Impact Athletic Center’s Youth Programs have been developed to promote a healthy and active lifestyle while also encouraging social development. Our youth programs include leagues, summer and school-break sports camps, Kids Night Out, Parent-Child fitness programs, drop-in care, after care, Homeschool PE classes and more. All programs are available to the public. Discounts are offered to siblings and members.

Children, aged 2 years (and potty trained) to 10 years of age are supervised for up to 2 hours while parents use the facility. Whether taking a class in one of the fitness studios, playing a pick-up basketball game, attending a PT session, coaching a team or having a bite to eat at our onsite restaurant, parents can feel confident that their children are well cared for. Children will remain active while interacting with their peers and playing with developmentally appropriate games and toys. Available on a first come first serve basis. Members and guests must remain on-site to utilize our Drop-in care.

If you’re looking for a place to send your kids during school breaks and for the summer, look no further. Campers will stay warm in the winter months and cool in the summer heat as instructors lead them through fun games and activities. Impact’s camps are open to campers ages 5-17 during non-school hours. School-break camps are offered year-round to school-age kids when school is not in session. Summer camps begin in July and run through the end of August. Campers will be provided lunch from The Courtside Grille.

Impact’s camps feature a variety of sports and recreation options. Sports camps will focus on skill development, technique, position, scrimmage and play. All-sports camps will feature a new sport each day so young athletes can learn new skills, polish old skills and participate in fun scrimmages. Sport-specific and position camps will offer athletes the opportunity to grow in their sport and will focus on honing their skills as they prepare for their school and club seasons. Recreation day camps will feature a fun new theme each week.

Impact’s camps typically run Monday through Thursday from 9am-4pm. Half day morning camps are offered from 9am-12pm and half day afternoon sessions are offered from 1-4PM.

Sign up early and grab your spot as the weather is always perfect inside!

In addition to building healthy fitness habits, Impact’s Weight Training Program has been developed to help teens build strength, muscle and stamina, improve sports performance, and reduce knee and other injuries. With qualified supervision from Impact trainers and appropriately designed strength training programs, Impact understands that good form, proper technique and appropriate progression of loads is key to a successful program. Before starting Impact’s weight training program, an evaluation by a pediatrician or sports medicine doctor is recommended. Weight Training is available for youth ages 10-17.
